Line A – The Chin Line,    Line B – The Neck Line,    Line C – The Detail Line,    Line D – The Bust Line,   and  Line E – The Hem Line.    Zones, such as Zone A-B is the area between Line A and Line B.

The B-D zone is smaller than the D-E zone.

The long necklace and cross-over style distracts from the bustline and suggests a lower neckline.

Sleeveless tends to suggest a lower shoulder line, effectively raising the bustline.

The B-D zone is smaller than the D-E zone.

The large flower detail on front is below the bustline and effectively raises the bustline.

The gathered sleeves end below the bustline.

The A-B zone and wide shoulder exposure attracts the eye from the bustline.

The B-D zone is smaller than the D-E zone.

The draped detail on front distracts from the bustline.

The A-C zone extends to the bustline.

The B-D zone (as well as the C-D zone) is smaller than the D-E zone.

The cuffed sleeves and the buttoned opening draw the eye below the bustline.
